The Houston Area Community Services (HACS) Outpatient Clinic is sited on an approximate half-acre site in Midtown Houston. The design of the project maximizes the site by creating an engaging pedestrian experience while achieving operational requirements associated with parking, drop-off/ pick-up requirements, and patient flow.
The HACS Outpatient Clinic is designed as a two-story structure with project program on the Ground Level consisting of Medical (Exam Rooms and Lab), Dental (Treatment Rooms, Pano X-Ray Room, and Sterilization Room), Class D Pharmacy, Waiting, Reception, Intake Rooms, and Building Service Rooms. On the Second Level, the project program consists of Adult Care functions, including Food Service Kitchen, Servery and Dining areas, Multi-Purpose Rooms, and Administrative/ Support Services.
The HACS Outpatient Clinic is designed as a patient-centered environment with evidence-based design principles. Throughout the design process, Fox Architecture is exploring operational efficiencies and spatial relationships with flexible, universal design concepts.
